Amit Bhatia – Grandest Wedding Affair of the Century

The world’s wealthiest man Lakshmi Mittal spent £30million for the wedding of his 23year old daughter Vanisha to Amit Bhatia in June 2004. The wedding with over 1,000 guests was held at one of France’s finest 17th century Chateau de Vaux le Vicomte. Guests were flown in from across the world and and put up in five-star Paris hotel and the engagement party was held at Chateau de Versailles. The whole wedding extravaganza celebration lasted six days with plenty of good food, 5,000 bottles of Mouton Rothschild worth £1 millon and spectacular performances from the likes of Kylie Minogue, Aishwarya Rai and AkshayKumar to Can Can girls evoking the heydays of the Moulin Rouge.

This wedding topped the list of “Billionaire Weddings” due to its grand and sheer opulence. A wonderful gift a billionaire father can ever give.
