Leeds Castle offers a variety of venues within the castle and its grounds for your wedding ceremomy and celebrations. There are three rooms licensed for a civil ceremony that can cater varying sizes from intimate to a big wedding of 100. Choosing Leeds Castle will give you the opportunity to entertain and host your wedding like how royalties would host their event. It will be a very interesting experience for you and your guests to explore the whole castle - to entertain, dine, drink and be merry on your special day.

The Dining Room which was redesigned for Lady Baillie by leading interior designer Stephane Boudin, whose other clients included the Duke and Duchess of Windsor and Jackie Kennedy is licensed to hold a civil ceremony for up to 60 guests including the bride and groom. The beautiful eighteenth century tapestries and Chinese porcelain grace and add character to the room. The soft pastel colours, delicate lighting and sufficient windows make this room feel very light and airy perfect for the wedding procession that every bride-to-be would love.

Named after the Castle’s most famous owner - The Henry VIII Banqueting Hall where dinner breakfast is served is perfect for that cosy meal with family and friends. This is the largest room in the castle measuring over 70ft in length, beautiful beamed ceilings, 16th century carved fireplace, bay windows and with a powerful, rich, warm feel to the room due to the materials and colours used. This room will certainly give you and your guests a glimpse of what entertaining was like in the Tudor period. It can fit up to 100 guests on a long banquetting table or 70 guests maximum for round tables.
The after dinner party and drinks will happen at the Thorpe Drawing Room and Yellow Drawing Room with the option of using the Heraldry Room for dancing. All the rooms in the castle offer a completely different atmosphere and you can expect each part of your wedding to be different from the the time you welcome your friends, your first meal as Mr & Mrs, your first dance to the time you wave them goodbye.

Leeds Castle is based on “Exclusive Use” only which will allow you to use all the rooms in the castle from the Library, Dining Room, Henry VIII Hall, Drawing Rooms, Heraldry Room, your guests get a tour of the castle and the freedom to walk around at anytime in and around the castle with your designated butler and you can also sleep here and have breakfast the next day.
There are 20 rooms within the castle that can accomodate up to 38 guests for the perfect end to a perfect day. All rooms are stunning, luxurious with exquisite antique furniture, fine paitings and objects d’art collected by the different owners of Leeds Castle. The views from all the rooms are breathtaking as they all face the lake and the parkland.
