The set has a beautiful twist of modernity with elegant patterns and curves that every home chef enthusiast will love. If his designs pass your sophisticated taste, then perhaps it is something you can add on your wedding registry.

Maybe it is just me getting older and my taste changing but I personally really love the classic and traditional look in my silverware and cutlery collection. In UK, there are plenty of really good, talented and luxury English cutlery designer that I like and will certainly have a lot to mention in the next articles under wedding registry.

I will start it off with Arthur Price. It is a family owned business that started in1902 and has been the country’s leading cutlery brand. They make the most elegant pieces of cutlery with a quality, style, and innovation that is second to. Their classic and luxury collection are just so beautiful and I love all of them. Compared to the other brands available in the market, theirs is a little bit more affordable.

In terms of wedding registry, I also love the fact that they can offer bespoke services. So if you want to request for gold plating, application of family crest, monograms, wedding date or to engrave both your names on certain pieces, then they can do that for you without any problem. Of course, you will have to pay a little extra but it is just nice to have that option should you have any special requests like that in mind.

I was in Harrods yesterday checking out the bed linen department and I quickly checked out Pratesi. I have heard so much about this company and the cost of their bed sheets which usually starts at about £2,000 per set. I find it difficult to absorb how some people can justify this cost, but I guess there will always be people who would indulge on such luxury goods.

Pratesi is widely used by luxury hotels like The Ritz and St.Regis. It is the ultimate name for bed linens and they are known all over the world for using only the finest Egyptian cotton that is ultra-smooth, very refine with thread counts so high (550-600) that makes other linens feel so rough in comparison. It is meant to be the most luxurious of Italian sheets that is loved by Angelina Jolie and Elizabeth Taylor to name a few. I was already shocked by the price but I was also surprised to hear about the production time it takes for them to manufacture these linens.  According to the sales rep, it usually takes two weeks per square meters and there is a waiting period of two months for every order and sometimes four weeks depending on the style you order.

I personally love and enjoy shopping for stylish, beautiful and comfortable bed sheets, pillow cases, cushion covers and throw to dress up our bed but I will never be able justify this cost. Here are some photos and would love to hear your thoughts about them.

Exciting news to all our style savvy brides-to-be, Marc Jacobs will be launching his collection of beautiful crystal, giftware and fine bone china for Waterford. I saw the collection and they are all beautiful, elegant and very stylish like the designer himself. His collection comes in three patterns called Jean, Elizabeth and Robert. They are wildlife lovers and they will be heading to Africa for their honeymoon. So I chose a charity based there that I can donate to and I know for sure that they will be so thrilled about it. I personally think that donating to a charity is a good alternative to traditional wedding gifts or in addition to. So today I just made my donation to David Sheldrick Trust and I feel good about it. I think I am giving them a very meaningful wedding gift and I know that they will love it. It is something different, unique and special.
