I was in Knightsbridge last week and I saw some really pretty ballerina shoes that I think will look absolutely gorgeous on your wedding day. There are different styles to choose from and you will be spoilt for choice. I think ballet shoes are ideal if you want a pair of really comfortable shoes that you can wear all day. Some brides do exactly just that, and others use them when the party kicks off and they dance the night away. Crocket and Jones is another English shoe maker that my husband and I love. This is where he bought his pair of shoes for our wedding day and it matched his bespoke Gieves and Hawkes morning suit perfectly well. Since he is wearing a traditional and classic English morning suit, he decided that he would also wear a pair of English shoes for our big day. We looked around different shops until we felt comfortable and happy with the products, prices and services offered by Crocket and Jones in Burlington Arcade.

They make really elegant, stylish and classic shoes using only the best materials and the craftsmanship is beyond compare. We also really like the people working in the shop, they are all very warm, helpful, customer service impeccable and they are so knowledgeable at what they do. Overall, it is a great shop and we’d highly recommend them to you. My husband picked Aintree (1^st shoe in the photo) and he is very happy with the quality, the style and most importantly he said the shoes are really comfy.

I LOVE shoes and I used to be a shoeaholic. Oh my, I feel like I am saying my confessions here at DS. Seriously speaking, I used to be a crazy shoe shopper and there was a time when I’d go shop for 20 pairs of shoes in one store and all in one day. Yes, those were the crazy days when I was younger and so carefree with my spending. I don’t do that anymore but I still enjoy looking and appreciating beautifully crafted and sexy shoes for women and also for men! I personally think that buying men’s shoes are just as fun but sometimes a little bit more difficult as it requires thorough investigation on the leather and craftsmanship. When I go to some of the really good English shops in London, I feel like I am getting free lessons on men’s shoes and I love it. I enjoy listening to the passionate sales assistant as he or she explains the type of leather, stitching, shapes, soles, finishing and the like. They surely know what they are talking about and they are very good at when they do.

John Lobb is one of the shoe shop I would recommend.
