Christmas sales are in their last week and I wanted to share with you the opportunity to buy gorgeous Amanda Wakeley dresses on sale. Here are some of my favourites which I think will be suitable for an elegant affair. The top two are very chic and sophisticated whilst the bottom two dresses are more classically beautiful.

I see a lot of black and white inspired weddings these days. I personally find them very glamorous and stylish if they are tastefully done. If you also have a black and white wedding theme, I think the first two dresses could be ideal evening dresses for the after party, or they would also make stunning bridesmaids’ dresses. A Marchesa evening dress starts at £3,000 and it can go up depending on how elaborate the dress is. At the moment, we’ve heard rumours that Marchesa will be introducing their own bridal collection. We do not know when this is happening but we have included photos of Colleen McLoughlin’s Marchesa wedding dress that cost an astounding £100,000. This Marchesa bridal gown was custom designed by the talented Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig as a one-off piece. Becker Eshaya Candles

I LOVE candles and I sometimes get really carried away when I go to shops that sells some of the most amazing candles. When I was in Selfridge’s yesterday, I came acros BE candles by Becker-Eshaya and they were amazing. The scents are all divine and I told myself that they’d be great for our wedding in December. I kinda like the idea of having candles as our give aways but or perhaps as “thank you” gifts to my fantastic five bridesmaids.

Anyway, I’ve heard that the original signature BE candle scenet with tones of Italian mandarin, pink peony, lily of the valley, and rose damscena with a touch of white sensual musk is the most popular and is also a fav by celebrities like Cameron Diaz and Julia Roberts to name a few.
