Christmas sales are in their last week and I wanted to share with you the opportunity to buy gorgeous Amanda Wakeley dresses on sale. Here are some of my favourites which I think will be suitable for an elegant affair. The top two are very chic and sophisticated whilst the bottom two dresses are more classically beautiful.

I see a lot of black and white inspired weddings these days. I personally find them very glamorous and stylish if they are tastefully done. Bridesmaids’ Hairstyles

It is every brides dream to have an elegant wedding with everything looking absolutely perfect and uniformly beautiful – your white dress, bridal accessories, the flowers, the decor, the food presentation to the outfits of the whole bridal entourage and your bridemaid’s hairstyle. But the last point is something that you have to be careful about…..

NEVER dictate and tell your bridesmaid(s) what hairstyle they should have on your wedding day. You should let them have the freedom of doing something that they will love and feel comfortable with. I know it is your day and you should have whatever you want but you can not dictate or impose on to your bridesmaid(s). In the first place, they are the best person to know which hairstyle will compliment them better and which one they will feel most comfortable with the whole day.

The best thing to do is to tell your bridesmaid(s) what you envision your wedding day to be like and to politely request that they do something with their hair that will meet all your criteria. They are your closest friend(s) that is why you chose them to be part of your bridal entourage so i am sure they will respect your requests and not surprise you with a funky red hair do if your wedding is quite a formal event.

So do NOT make this big mistake of being a controlling bridezilla and not allow your bridesmaid(s) to be completely themselves and to look like a group of “robo-bridesmaids”. Remember, they are adults and not children!

I am so in love with this new fragrant by Marc Jacobs called Daisy. It is a very elegant scent and is infused with a twist of vibrancy. I love it and I also like the bottle which is packed in a clear glass topped with daisies that seems to appear to bloom from the rounded cap. I think it will be a good perfume to use on big day or maybe as a bridesmaid gift.

Here are the floral notes: Radiant and enchanting with top notes of luschious natural floral bouquet of fresh daisies, strawberries, violet leaves and ruby red grapefruit; heart notes of violet, jasmine and gardenia; base notes of vanilla, musks and white woods for softness and sensuality.
