Celebrity Engagement Rings

All the A-list female celebrities we see in the big screen, no matter what their backgrounds are like, have lots of things in common- they party hard, they work hard, spoil themselves well with all the good things in life and they also know how to attract their Mr. Right who can afford to buy them some of the most beautiful and extravagant engagement ring with a carat size that simply says “the bigger the better”.

For celebrities, the traditional one carat size ring has now been replaced by nothing lower and smaller than three or four carat diamond ring. You will be surprised to see the stunning engagement rings that some of the celebrities are wearing just like Elizabeth Taylor who wears a 30 carat emerald cut diamond ring and Paris Hilton with an impressive 24 carat ring, to name a few.

According to some of the most reputable names in the jewellery industry such us Harry Winston, Graff, Chopard, Neil Lane and De Beers, the current trend now amongst celebrities, socialites and royalties alike are the beautiful vintage engagement rings like Art-Deco or Edwardian Style with pave setting. I am a big fan of anything vintage and most especially vintage jewellery! They are really beautiful and so timeless, I can imagine passing it on to the next generation and the design will always be gorgeous!!

I find it so entertaining walking around New Bond Street. I enjoy and I love looking at the latest designs in the world of luxury goods particularly the luxury jewellery brands out there. A trip down that road never fails to make me smile, not only because of the beautiful pieces I am seeing but also because I am always constantly amazed how some people can afford all these.
