Carolina Herrera Bridal Collection 2010

I am very impressed by the inspiration and concept behind the Carolina Herrera Bridal Collection 2010. The wedding dresses are all beautiful and it is amazing how special details that defined the arts of some of the world’s greatest painters of all time are creatively incorporated in the bridal gowns. If you look closely, you will see that Monet’s water lilies are hand painted in tulle, Matisse’s paper cut outs are elegantly hanging on a tulle column and Van Gogh’s sunflower are beautifully re-created in taffeta ruffles. 1^st row – Franz Xavier Winterhalter is an ivory tulle strapless floral branch embroidered gown and Francois Boucher is a mist silk taffeta strapless gown with full ball skirt and taffeta ruffles.

2^nd row – Tamara de Lempicka is a beautiful blush crepe stain cowl back gown with lace flower, blush cathedral length veil with scalloped lace appliqué and Pierre-August Renoir is a triple ivory georgette halter gown with gathered bodice and embroidered appliqué, and striped grosgrain ribbon, natural straw hat with striped grosgrain ribbon.

3^rd row – Gustav Klimt is a full embroidery tank-style English net gown and Henri Matisse is a soft ivory strapless gown with duchess satin petal embroidery.

4^th row – Charles Lebrun Ivory duchess satin and faille strapless gown with embroidered bodice and Claude Monet is a white tulle strapless gown hand-painted with water lillier, white tulle hand-painted cathedral length veil.

5^th row – George Seurat is a white dotted fils coupe gown bustle back gown with duchess satin ribbon and Sandro Boticelli is a beautiful soft column gown with duchess satin bands.
