Royal Wedding: Wedding Date & Wedding Venue Announced

The Royal Wedding of Prince William and Catherine Middleton will be on Friday, 29th April 2011 and it will be held at the Westminster Abbey in London.

Bells in the Abbey hasn’t stop ringing since the announcement was made and a lot of people are definitely getting really excited that the biggest wedding of the century is happening in just five months. There will definitely be a lot of wedding preparations to do and according to the media report, the Prince Willaim and Kate plan to be as involve as possible and to put their own stamp to their wedding.

The whole team at Dolce Sposa are definitely very thrilled and are looking forward to getting inspiration from this event which will definitely be fit for the future King and Queen!

Perhaps a return trip to Vicky Cristina Barcelona is in order, it would be lovely to see how things were re-kindled for the couple! They both turned in a noteworth performance in the movie…

Salma Hayek re-marries in style!!

Francois Henri Pinault and Salma Hayek’s wedding in Venice, Italy was a celebration of love that is grand and fabulous!

The wedding venue that the newlyweds chose was Venice’s Teatro La Fenice Opera House which is known to be one of Europe’s most famous theatre that hosts some of the world’s best premieres in opera. As you can imagine, for one of Hollywood’s most beautiful actress and a French billionaire, money is not an object so it was easy for them to have their dream wedding in this very exclusive, grand and historical wedding venue.

The wedding was attended by their closest family and friends and the wedding theme was a Venetian masquerade which was surely enjoyed by all 150 guests. Penelope Cruz, Charlize Theron, Stella McCartney, Zhang Ziyi, Ashley Judd, Damien Rice, Bono and also Former President Jacques Chirac were all present to witness such special occasion. Edward Norton who has remained friends with Salma after their break-up was also there to celebrate with the happy couple.

Our all time favourite Indiana Jone’s star Harrison Ford finally popped the question and asked Calista Flockhart (Ally McBeal) to marry him. He proposed on Valentine’s Day whilst on a family vacation. No details were revealed but we can only imagine a very romantic and memorable proposal from Indy….
Calista and Harrison have been together for seven and a half years and they continue to be so in love! No date has been set but like us, we all await more news so we can all witness their happy union.

Sir Richard Branson has been reported to be the best man at this wedding and guestlist includes the former President Bill Clinton, Hilary Clinton, Bono from U2, other Silicon Valley visionaries and billionaires.
